Chris was born and raised in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. He graduated from Bishop Hoban High School. While at Hoban, he pitched for their state championship baseball team. Chris was recruited and attended Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He earned his Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy. Chris then moved to Henderson, Nevada. After managing other clinics in the area, Chris opened TRU Physical Therapy in 2005. He has been working to improve the lives of his clients ever since. His clinic focus is orthopedics, however he does a great deal of fitness training and weight management coaching. Chris spends his free time with his sons, Lincoln and Hunter. They enjoy reading, baseball, and football. They also ride bikes, tell stories, and play outside. Chris has true love of life and a "keep moving forward" mentality that he shares with all of those he encounters.
Chris is locally born and raised. He entered the United States Marine Corps after High School. While there, he served our country as a Russian Cryptologic Linguist. He served in the 11th and 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit for Reconnaissance and Surveillance. He served both stateside and abroad. After his return from the Marines, he initiated his further education at UNLV. He graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology in 2011. He earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in May of 2015. Chris is multi-lingual. He also thoroughly excels at working with the much underserved Pediatric Orthopedic and Neurologic populations in Henderson. He enjoys music. He is an avid soccer player. His true loves are his two children, Cameron (11) and Audrey (8)
Eric was born in Burbank, California and moved shortly there after to Las Vegas where he attended Spring Valley High School and played varsity for the basketball team. After quickly realizing his passion for fitness and sports, he attended UNLV and attained his Bachelors in Kinesiology and later earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2018. Since then Eric has been treating patients in all settings such as geriatric, chronic pain, sports athletes and post operative. He has developed special interests in manual therapy (dry needling) and preventative care. Eric has recently joined TRU Physical therapy with intentions of providing quality care through his expertise in manual therapy, corrective exercise and movement dysfunctions. His motivations stems from his passion for movement and in providing optimal care to his patients. When he is not busy treating patients, you can find him on your local basketball court putting some shots up or spending quality time with his wife and family.
Skyler was born and raised in Henderson, NV. He graduated from Basic High School. After graduating, he completed a 2-year mission in Vancouver, Canada where he spoke Spanish. He became fluent and speaks Spanish as his second language. After completing his mission, he realized he genuinely enjoyed working with and watching others succeed. After job searching, he found that a Physical Therapist satisfied both of his desires. He attended UNLV and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology in 2013 and later earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2017. Skyler brings additional knowledge to the practice as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist which he received in 2016. He is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and National Strength and Conditioning Association. Skyler brings a high level of energy and upbeat personality to the patients he treats and has a personal goal to make all of his patients smile. Skyler has 3 children that keep him busy while at home. When he is not at work he enjoys coaching his children’s sports teams, playing any kind of competitive sport, camping, fishing, and is an adrenaline enthusiast.
Brenton was born and raised in Rockford, Illinois until his family moved to Henderson, NV in 2004. Brenton attended and graduated from Green Valley High school in 2006. He received his Bachelors in Kinesiology from UNLV and became an ACSM Certified Personal Trainer in 2011. He later earned his Occupational Associates from PIMA Medical Institute in Physical Therapy in 2016. He enjoys spending time with his family, hiking, camping and weight lifting.
Zeyda was born in Mexico and raised in Arizona. She lived in Bullhead City where she graduated from Mohave High School and received an Associates Degree in Culinary and Restaurant Management from Mohave Community College. Through her many years of playing basketball, Zeyda became highly interested in physical therapy and recently relocated to Las Vegas to pursue a new career in the medical field. Zeyda is a new graduate from Pima Medical Institute PTA program and is excited to begin her new career with the Tru team. She enjoys sports, hiking, and UFC. She aspires in the next 5 years to receive a PTA Specialty Certification in Orthopaedics.
